1 Cor. 12:7 "A spiritual gift is given to each of us, so we can help others."
Paul says we all have been given a spiritual gift. And the purpose of this gift is to help others.
I love that God has given each person a spiritual gift. He has equipped everyone to serve other people. He designed us specifically to help others. These gifts were not given to us to benefit us, they were given so we could bless those around us. How am I using my spiritual gifts? I think I am doing well, but I could sure use my gifts more. I need to see my talents, abilities and gifts as tools to love and serve.
Dear Jesus, help me to use my gifts to help someone in need today. Amen.
