Heb. 7:25 "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them."
Jesus is being compared to Melchizedek. The author (likely Paul) is making the argument that Jesus is our high priest-in fact he is the ultimate high priest. There is no need for any other priest because Jesus continually intercedes on our behalf. He is able to do completely what former priests (and current ones) could only do in part. He saves us and justifies us completely.
My hope needs to continually remain in Jesus. My salvation and righteousness do not come through good works, rituals or religion-they comes through Jesus. He is my high priest who intercedes on my behalf before the father.
Dear Jesus, please intercede for me each day. I need you! Amen.
