Temple = Jesus

1 Kings 8:27 "But will God really live on earth? Why, even the highest heavens cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!"

Solomon has finished building the temple in Jerusalem.  Upon it's completion, he prays a very long prayer to dedicate the building to God.

Surely this temple could not contain God!  So why build it?  What was it's real purpose?
