4 Lessons from Nehemiah 4

Nehemiah 4:14 "...Don't be afraid of them.  Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes."

Nehemiah has returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the city wall.  While undertaking this great task, he and his fellow Jews face opposition and danger!  Nehemiah reminds them of their great God and exactly why they are rebuilding the city.

So much can be learned from Nehemiah! A few things for today....#1, God is great and awesome.  #2, some things are worth fighting for.  #3, anything worth doing will be difficult. #4, we will always face danger.  This all leads me to believe that my faith in God is absolutely necessary for everything I ever set out to do!

Dear Jesus, help me rely on you and trust in you today.  Amen.
