Psalm 62:11, 12 "One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O Lord, are loving."
David writes this song and claims he's heard two things from the one thing God has spoken. Weird. Either way, David speaks of God as strong and loving.
Christ is my strength and Christ is my love. These first two days of sabbatical have been difficult-for several reasons. Fortunately, I've had a great peace these past two days. Christ truly has been my strength and I have truly felt his love. I am working hard to rely on Him throughout this season in my life. I need to rely on his strength tomorrow!
Dear Jesus, thank you for your strength and your love. Amen.
