1 Cor. 13:1 "If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging symbol."
I'm pretty sure I sound like a gong or a clanging symbol to my kids this week. I have been short tempered with them and haven't been the nicest guy to be around. I have no reason why nor do I have any excuses. I need to work better at this. I can't have my kids see me be all friendly to people at church or people I run into at the grocery store, but be short and impatient at home. I need to show them the kind of love they deserve and truly display the kind of love I have for them. As Paul says later, "Love never fails." I can't have it fail my kids.
