Proverbs 28:13 "People who cover over their sins will not prosper. But if they confess and forsake them, they will receive mercy."
Ouch. Tough verse. Sweeping things under the rug is easy. But God doesn't call us to an easy life. He wants us to do the hard thing and be open, honest, and real about our junk. He wants us to truly own it.
