Job 26:14 "And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?"
Earlier, one of Job's friends had chided him about not understanding the mysteries of God. But here, Job claims that our knowledge of God is limited and we can hear just a faint whisper of him.
There is so much we do not understand or will ever understand about God. He is the creator and we are the creation. He is big and we are small. And to be honest, I like it that way. Because he is so big and grand, I can have complete faith and trust in him. Today I need to step back and let him be big in my life.
Dear Jesus, help me be small today. Amen.
