Psalm 1:2 "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night."
The book of 150 Psalms opens with this statement. The psalmist writes that a man should delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on it. And not only meditate on it, but meditate both day and night!
Do I delight in God's word? Do I meditate on it day and night? This weekend I have an awesome opportunity to meditate on God's word during 30 Hour Famine. This weekend I want to learn something new from his word and be challenged to apply it to my life. I think I may find that in the psalms.
Dear Jesus, help me hear from your word today. Amen.
