Job 42:3 "...surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know."
Job recognizes his standing before God. He fully gets it. He admits he did not know what he was talking about and that God alone has the answers to life's questions. In the end, God does not explain why Job went through what he did, God just affirms that he is in control of all things.
I need to remember that God is always in control. I may think I'm pretty big and pretty important and that I am in control, but the truth is I am not. My life can change in a moment at any moment. How can I take a backseat and allow God to lead today? In what ways can I recognize he is in control and submit to his authority?
Dear Jesus, please take HangTime tonight and do what you will. Help me not to get in the way. Amen.
