Job 9:15 "Though I were innocent, I could not answer him; I could only plead with my Judge for mercy."
Job claims his only recourse for the position he is in is to throw himself at God's mercy. He cannot argue with God or plead his case. He feels he has no standing before God-all he can rely on is God's mercy.
In the end, that's all we have- God's mercy. And his mercy came to earth as Jesus, the savior. Jesus is my mercy. Jesus is my answer. Jesus is the solution to my problems and my sin. I must throw myself at Jesus daily because I am a wretch!
Dear Jesus, have mercy on me, a sinner. Amen.
